17-YEAR-OLD INJURED IN HIGHWAY 68 VEHICLE CRASH IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

A single vehicle accident on Highway 68 near Sawmill Road in Cumberland County yesterday hurt the driver. Troopers say a 2001 Nissan Maxima operated by a 17-year-old from the Homestead area left the road and struck a mailbox. The car then struck a culvert, went airborne and landed coming to rest on its side. The juvenile, who was restrained, was taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
