BUCKHOLTZ PLEADS GUILTY IN 2021 DRUG DEATH OF TWO ROANE TEENS

The case involving the death of two Crass brothers in 2021 ages 17 and 19 at the time at their home on Circle Lane off of Caney Ford Road in 2021 was resolved with the key suspect in the case Vincent William Buckholtz pleading guilty Wednesday in a Roane County courtroom.  Buckholtz allegedly had a  role in selling illegal drugs to the two brothers which eventually resulted in their deaths

According to court documents, in 2021 Vincent William Buckholtz was indicted for second-degree murder for the deaths of Javen and Jared Crass by “unlawful distribution of fentanyl or carfentanil.”

Prosecutors for the 9th District Attorney General’s office, Generals Curtis and Roberts were able to convince William Buckholtz to take a plea agreement.  Buckholtz is set to serve several years in prison for his actions. Additionally, there may be another suspect named soon in connection with the case.
