2 TENNESSEE TITANS ACC– USED OF BEATING UP MAN AFTER ARGUMENT

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) –

Two members of the Tennessee Titans football team are being accused of attacking a man at a Nashville bar after an argument about the 2017 NFL Draft, according to a federal lawsuit filed on Wednesday.

Wide receiver Tajae Sharpe and guard Sebastian Tretola, both drafted by the Titans in 2016, are accused of beating Dante Satterfield while they were together at the Tin Roof on Demonbreun Street on April 27, the first night of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The lawsuit said the assault stemmed from Sharpe’s violent reaction to the Satterfield’s suggestion that he would lose playing time after the Titans selected wide receiver Corey Davis from Western Michigan.

The lawsuit claims Satterfield was transported to a nearby hospital and remained unconscious for more than 12 hours. He suffered extensive injuries including broken bones in his face, massive facial bruising and a perforated eardrum.

Satterfield seeks to collect damages for medical expenses, physical and emotional pain and suffering as well as current and potential future lost wages.

“This case is not about the Tennessee Titans or the NFL,” said Alex Little, who is representing Satterfield in the lawsuit. “It’s about two individuals who, for no good reason, seriously injuring an innocent victim. We are seeking to hold them accountable for the harm they have caused.”

Satterfield is asking to be awarded “not less than $500,000.”
