Cumberland County deputies responded yesterday to a home on River Road for a burglary.

When the resident arrived after being in the hospital for a few days, she discovered a handgun, a gun case, and ammunition were gone.

She also informed officers there was $24,000 missing she kept in a freezer.

A suspect was named in the incident.
