Lifepoint Health and Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee gave 2,800 boxes of food to families and individuals in areas impacted by Helene across western North Carolina.

LifePoint Health, from Brentwood, was established in 1999 and provides healthcare services in rural areas and small towns. Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that provides access to food and resources to people with food insecurity in rural areas.
