A second Rocky Top Market has been robbed in Knoxville this week. Police were called to the business at 10518 Kingston Pike Friday morning around 6 AM. There’s no further information on this incident at this time. Wednesday an armed robbery took place at the Rocky Top Market at 308 East Emory Rd. in Powell. That robbery took place shortly after 4 AM. The suspect in that incident was shot at by an employee. It was unknown if the suspect, who escaped in an unknown vehicle, was hit. That suspect has also been connected to the robbery of a Dollar General Store on Tuesday. It’s still indefinite that these robberies are linked.
