3 JUVENILES ARRESTED FOR SCHOOL THREATS IN KNOX COUNTY

Knox County, TN- Tuesday night Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Crimes Unit responded to Halls Middle School to investigate an alleged threat to the school.
Two eighth-grade juvenile students were arrested for Threats of Mass Violence. Both juveniles were transported to the Richard L. Bean Juvenile Detention Center.
Wednesday, a juvenile sophomore student at Powell High School was arrested for a separate school threat.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office stated, “Parents we cannot stress this enough, PLEASE have conversations with your children about the seriousness of making these threats and the severe repercussions.”
