MAN CAUGHT ALLEGEDLY STEALING FUEL FROM CONTRUCTION EQUIPMENT
Earlier this month, Cumberland County deputies were dispatched to Dripping Springs Road for a suspicious person around construction equipment. When the deputies arrived, they identified Brian Farley. When confronted, Mr. Farley stated he was just using the phone and walking around. The owner was not currently at the site, and deputies told Mr. Farley that he was banned from the property and released him.
Later, the owner called deputies and advised that he did want to press charges against the suspect. They had discovered a tube used to cipher fuel and a 55-gallon drum that was nearly full from one of the pieces of equipment. There was also a dolly that was going to be used to carry off the drum to the back of a truck. The truck belonged to Raybon Dickens. Mr. Dickens denied that the male was Brian Farley and that he did not know the suspect. After deputies were able to get a picture of Brian Farley, they positively identified him to match the suspect.
Warrants were signed and Brian Farley will be charged with Theft of Property.
