$7,300 FRAUD AT FAIRFIELD GLADE’S FIRST NATIONAL BANK
On April 21, 2025, an unknown white female, approximately 55 years old, executed two unauthorized withdrawals totaling $7,300 from a victim’s account at First National Bank on Peavine Road in Fairfield Glade. The victim, a 58-year-old resident of Livingston, discovered the fraud after receiving a Care Credit statement indicating a missed payment for a $368 check that was never cashed.
Upon reviewing bank statements, the victim contacted the bank and learned of the transactions, leading to a police report filed on May 2. Bank footage revealed the suspect used a voter registration card as identification and accurately answered security questions, though she appeared fidgety, and the bank teller claims she possibly smelled of marijuana, and commented on the bank’s music.
She returned for a second withdrawal, claiming her husband instructed her to take more money. Surveillance from the bank and a nearby Food City captured the suspect’s vehicle, a black 2024 Hyundai Tucson with a New York registration, parked at Food City’s Gas’N Go.
A younger female in a grey sweatshirt was seen exiting the vehicle and entering Food City. Flock camera data confirmed the vehicle’s presence in Fairfield Glade on the incident date and previously in Georgia.
The victim reviewed suspect images but could not confirm their identity, though the Food City female seemed vaguely familiar. The suspect at the bank wore a tan shirt with a pink and black design, a necklace, glasses on her head, and possibly a skirt, with a potentially dark complexion.
The case remains under investigation with no arrests made.
