The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has reported that a rapist on their Top 10 Most Wanted List was captured over the weekend. Simon Porter was observed by a passerby as he walked along Alabama Highway 79 Sunday. He was taken into custody in Scottsboro. Porter, who is accused of raping a 16-month-old boy in Lawrenceburg, will be extradited back to Tennessee.
