STILL NO WORD ON WHEREABOUTS OF MISSING TANSI TEEN

1057 News met this morning with Sgt. Gary Howard of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, who reported no news in the ongoing search for missing Lake Tansi teenager Jade Miller. Howard said they’ve “followed every lead to dead ends,” and are hoping for a break soon. He’s followed up on many leads thus far, but nothing substantive has resulted. He said he has reason to believe Jade is, if not in the immediate vicinity, at least still somewhere nearby. Howard said he’d like for Jade to reach out and at least let authorities know she’s safe. Beyond that, he said, things can be negotiated later with regard to her coming home – but his main priority is confirming her safety.

Jade Miller is 16 years old; she stand five feet ten inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen on Tuesday, March 12. If you have any information about her whereabouts or know anything that can lead to her safe return, please contact the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at (931) 484-6176.
