PIKEVILLE WOMAN INDICTED FOR BRIBING OFFICER, JUDGE
A Bledsoe County woman has been indicted on bribery charges.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says a Bledsoe County grand jury indicted 48-year-old Sonya Hawkins Nale of Pikeville Monday on two counts of bribery of a public servant.
TBI says agents determined that in September, Nale offered to pay an arresting deputy to drop charges against another person. TBI says Nale then offered to pay a judge to drop those same charges.
