Officials in Overton County have announced that they have found the body of a missing Cookeville man. 83-year-old Dr. James L. Smith had been missing since Wed. April 17. His body was discovered in rural Overton County at around 3:30 PM Sunday afternoon by family, volunteers and law enforcement. A reward had been posted by Putnam County Authorities. No further information is available at this time.
