JOB INTERVIEW CITED AS REASON FOR UNLICENSED MAN’S DRIVING VEHICLE

Monday afternoon, Roane County deputies initiated a traffic stop at the corner of Harriman Highway and Webster Road in Harriman for an expired registration. The driver, 44-year-old Jason Michael Hard, told deputies he didn’t have a license. The passenger, Misty Travis, said she did not have a license either and was letting Hard drive because she had a job interview. Her license was suspended, and his was revoked for DUI. The arrest report shows since 2013 Hard has been charged five times for driving on a revoked or suspended license.
Hard was arrested for driving on a revoked or suspended license. Travis was cited for the expired registration.
Hard was taken to the Roane County Jail without incident.
