The Harriman City Council is scheduled to meet this evening at 6 at City Hall. Items on the agenda under new business are:

• Discussion and possible approval of Library Board appointments.
• Discussion and possible approval of a contract extension with Waste Connection for household garbage collection.
• Discussion and possible approval of a quote for installation of the HVAC unit in the second-floor rooms at the Trailhead to be used to house the Historical Museum currently in the Temperance Building.
• Discussion and possible approval of an updated contract with Roane County for use of the Animal Control Shelter.
