JAMESTOWN HOSPITAL ORDERED CLOSED BY SUNDOWN TODAY

According to published reports, Jamestown Regional Medical Center has until sundown today to close its doors – or face being shuttered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.
The hospital’s owner, Rennova Healthcare, has reportedly had problems – including IRS problems – for some time. And, according to Jamestown Representative John Mark Windle, Rennova’s owner is an Irish citizen who’s unable to enter the U.S.
The IRS has reportedly placed a lien on the hospital for nonpayment of taxes.
“That’s taxpayer money,” Windle said. “Tennessee citizens deserve better than to be ripped off by an Irish gangster.”
A spokesman for Cookeville Regional Medical Center said today Jamestown Regional Medical Center has asked to transfer two patients to CRMC.
