OVERNIGHT STORMS RESULT IN WIDE SPREAD POWER OUTAGES
Just under 4,000 customers of Volunteer Electric Cooperative remain without power this morning after heavy thunder storms tore through this area Friday Night. Heavy winds and an already saturated ground uprooted trees and disrupted power to many in Fentress, Roane and Rhea Counties.
Forecasts for continued rain and wind over the next several days could lead to additional outages.
