A man was taken to Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge for surgery after part of his lip was nearly bit off by a woman yesterday in Roane County. The arrest report states deputies responded to a home on Shady Road in Oliver Springs where 30-year-old Ashley Nicole Allen got into a physical altercation with the victim. Officers noted scratches on his face, scalp and left shoulder and a portion of his upper lip severed and hanging freely. Allen was charged with aggravated assault and taken to the Roane County jail.
