The Roane County school system has two new student resource officers. This brings the total of SRO officers to eight to serve the 17 schools in Roane County. School officials say the plan in the near future is to have at least two SRO officers for each community including Rockwood, Harriman, Midway, Kingston and Oliver Springs.
