ONE HURT IN THREE VEHICLE CRASH ON I-40 IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

A three vehicle accident on I-40 in Cumberland County near Crab Orchard Wednesday resulted in one injury. Troopers say vehicles driven by 22-year-old Sydney Cameron of Franklin, Tennessee, 20-year-old Hannah Rodriguez of Nashville and 18-year-old Alexis Ayers of Crossville were all traveling west at the 328 mile marker when an uninvolved vehicle came to a stop then continued on. That caused Cameron to stop resulting in a chain reaction crash with the other two drivers behind her. Ayers was the only injury reported by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. All three drivers were restrained at the time of the crash.
