The National Weather Service has issued a WIND ADVISORY in effect from 12:01 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 until 6 p.m. central Saturday, January 11, 2020. This includes the following counties in the area:

CUMBERLAND, FENTRESS, PICKETT, OVERTON, PUTNAM, WHITE, VAN BUREN, AND CLAY

South winds 15 to 25 m.p.h. with gusts of up to 50 m.p.h. expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
