A Roane County man convicted of  a child sex crime was taken into custody this past weekend. Officers say 43-year-old Ralph Rollin McLean of Rockwood was charged with failure to register as a sex offender and taken to the Roane County jail Saturday, McLean was ordered onto the registry by a judge after his 2007 conviction for aggravated statutory rape.
