TWO JUVENILES, INCLUDING 10-YEAR-OLD, CHARGED WITH CARJACKING IN CHATTANOOGA
(no, the “10-year-old” is not a misprint)
Chattanooga police say two juvenile suspects were arrested early this morning for stealing a vehicle on Market Street. Officers responded to the scene just after 3 a.m. where the victim told police that she was robbed by two males who took her vehicle by force. Authorities located the car a short time later on the 1600 block of East 48th Street in Chattanooga. The driver, a 16-year-old male, was arrested for carjacking, unlawful possession of a weapon, felony evading arrest and reckless endangerment. The second suspect, a 10-year-old male, was charged with carjacking.
