JORDI SENTENCED FOR SECOND-DEGREE MURDER OF HIS FATHER IN WHITE COUNTY

A man has been sentenced for second-degree murder in the death of his father in White County. Court official say 23-year-old Joshua Jordi received 30 years to serve at 100 percent. Fifty-year-old Timothy Leroy Jordi was found dead March 8, 2018 at his Washington Street home in Sparta. At the time Joshua Jordi was a student at Minnesota State University. He was arrested four days later in Minnesota before extradition back to Tennessee.
