CORONAVIRUS CASE NUMBERS BY STATES IN THE SOUTHEASTERN UNITED STATES
Here are the current coronavirus numbers in the southeastern United States as of 7 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2020. These numbers are official from each state’s department of health:
FLORIDA – 1,867 cases, 23 dead
GEORGIA – 1,387 cases, 47 dead (13 in Albany and the majority in the Atlanta area)
TENNESSEE – 784 cases, 3 dead
NORTH CAROLINA – 504 cases, 1 dead
SOUTH CAROLINA – 424 cases, 8 dead
ALABAMA – 386 cases, 1 dead
MISSISSIPPI – 377 cases, 5 dead
KENTUCKY – 198 cases, 5 dead
All states report rises each day in the total cases. Testing results are taking 5 to up to 10 days for results because of the high number of testing conducted daily.
