PHILLIPS CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF METH DURING TRAFFIC STOP IN CROSSVILLE
A Crossville police officer stopped a vehicle on the 100 block of Sparta Drive Wednesday for a traffic violation. A check of the driver’s license of 56-year-old William Bruce Phillips of Crossville revealed a revoked status from a DUI last year. Officers reportedly found meth in Phillips possession. He reportedly told police he was in route to a home on Sparta Drive to smoke meth with a female subject. Phillips was arrested for possession of meth and his vehicle was seized.
