A trial date was set in Cumberland County Criminal Court this morning for a man charged with double first-degree murder. Authorities say 75-year-old Warren John Nostrom is accused of fatally shooting 58-year-old Joy Nostrom and 54-year-old Mark Gunter in the parking lot of the Cumberland County school bus garage on Genesis Road in September of 2018. Warren Nostrom then reportedly tried to shoot himself in the head but survived. In court today, the judge set a motions hearing of June 23, 2020 and if pending no further delays, the trial is scheduled to start August 25, 2020.
