The Harriman City Council voted last night to fund a special prom for juniors and seniors from the high school not to exceed $5,000. The event will be held at Riverfront Park June 12, 2020. Mayor Wayne Best brought up the suggestion after hearing about Rockwood’s plan to host a prom for their juniors and seniors in the downtown district June 13, 2020.
