A three vehicle chain reaction accident on I-40 in Cumberland County Tuesday resulted in no injuries. Troopers say a 2001 Chevy 2500 driven by 50 year-old Jeffrey C. Hollaway of Heiskell, a 2015 GMC Canyon operated by 69-year-old Harry A. Dehner of Deatsville, Alabama and a 1997 Dodge Ram driven by 73-year-old George R. Parten of Sevierville were all traveling east at the 338 mile marker when they collided with each other. The impact sent the Chevy into a guardrail and the other two came to rest in the right lane. Hollaway was cited for improper following.
