AT LEAST TWO INJURED IN HEAD-ON VEHICLE CRASH IN KINGSTON

A fiery two vehicle crash on Paint Rock Ferry Road near Cherokee Middle School in Kingston last night resulted in two injured. The accident involved a pick-up truck and a Michael Dunn transport van. A nearby resident was able to pull Shayla Wright and Shannon Laster from the wreckage of the van before it burned up. Caster was flown to U.T. Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the truck, Andrew Leach, stated he had a sudden steering issue that caused it to veer into the path of the van.
