Eric Eugene Dinkins, age 48, of Rockwood,  passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.  Eric was a member of Rockwood Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his father: Glen Dinkins; and grandparents: Bernice & Alvin Futrell. Survivors include mother: Diane Futrell of Rockwood; brothers: Michael Dinkins of Rockwood, Joseph R. “Joey” Reed III (Mariah) of Espanola, New Mexico, and Scott Dinkins of Ohio; stepfather: Joseph Robert Reed, Jr. of Rockwood; and uncles: David Futrell and Danny Futrell, both of Rockwood. The family will receive friends Friday, July 17, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. The funeral service will follow. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood.
