A Loudon County man is facing charges including rape and kidnapping. Authorities went to a home on Summer Street in Loudon where they encountered a female. She had been abused and claimed to have been held captive for nearly a week. Officers found the suspect, 43-year-old Richard Wayne McCollum, and had to taser him after the door to a bedroom was forced open.  McCollum was arrested for three counts of aggravated kidnapping and five counts each of aggravated rape and aggravated assault.
