A three vehicle accident Monday on Peavine Road near Fence Lane in Cumberland County hurt one. The accident report released today states a 2013 Ford driven by 73-year-old Phyllis A. Lee of Columbus, Ohio came to an abrupt stop to allow a car to enter the roadway. A vehicle behind Lee operated by 59-year-old Julie S. York of Grandview took evasive action to avoid a collision with her. York was then struck by an oncoming 2016 Mack dump truck operated by 51-year-old Jeffery A. Fults of Sparta. York was the only injury and she was taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment.
