TDOT says a completion date for the widening of a large section of Peavine Road in Cumberland County has been extended. It was scheduled to be done by this November. Now it is projected to be finished in February 2021. Motorists should use extreme caution while traveling in between Peavine Firetower Road north into Fairfield Glade. Peavine Road will be closed from Fairview Blvd to just past the Catoosa / Westchester intersection with detours posted. Temporary lane closures and/or traffic stoppages may be needed as these construction activities continue.
