A recent single vehicle accident on Peavine Firetower Road in Cumberland County resulted in minor injuries to the driver. A Kia Sorento operated by 55-year-old Rebecca J. Young of Crossville was traveling north when she lost control in a curve, left the asphalt and struck a tree. Medics evaluated her at the scene and transported Young to the hospital.
