APPROVAL TO USE CITY-OWNED PROPERTY FOR 2021 STATE SPORTING CLAY SHOOTING TOURNAMENT
The Crossville Shooting Sports Park currently has the opportunity to place a competitive application to host the 2021 Tennessee State Sporting Clay Championships. They are requesting temporary use of a portion of the property that is next to the current shooting sports park. We would have to place temporary, portable competition stands that would be located at edge of the existing road in multiple locations and will need to cut some trees in some areas in order to allow for target throwing machines to be placed for competition. If Crossville Shooting Sports Park is successful in obtaining and bringing this competition to Crossville, these events typically bring around 250 competitors along with a large following of spectators to the community for several days.
