A vehicle accident on Highway 70 East at Market Street in Crab Orchard yesterday resulted in injuries. Troopers say a 2011 Honda Civic driven by 44-year-old Rebecca Anne Phillips of Amity, Arkansas was attempting to cross over the highway when she was struck by a 2007 Mack CV7 operated by 62-year-old Mark Ronald Grebner of Crossville. Both drivers were hurt and one was flown from near the scene by Lifestar to U.T. Medical Center. The impact resulted in the dump truck turning over on its side. Phillips was charged with failure to exercise due care and failure to yield.
