Cumberland County deputies responded to the 2,300 block of Blaylock Road Saturday before sunrise for a vehicle partially off the road. Officers reportedly found the driver, 75-year-old Donald D. Dean of Crossville, unconscious behind the wheel. He later woke up and law enforcement allegedly smelled an odor of alcohol coming from him. A search of the vehicle supposedly revealed several bottles of alcoholic beverages, a loaded shotgun and meth. Dean was arrested for manufacture, sale and delivery of meth, DUI, simple possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
