A recent single vehicle accident in Roane County resulted in charges against the driver. The Tennessee Highway Patrol states a 2020 Nissan Altima driven by 39-year-old Amanda D. Hall of Kingston was traveling south on the 1,200 block of Gallaher Road when she ran off the asphalt and struck a utility pole. Hall was restrained and not injured. The report indicates she faces driving on a suspended license, failure to exercise due care and violation of the financial responsibility law (no proof of insurance).
