A resident recently discovered prowlers outside of his home before sunrise on a small drive off Wilson Road in Cumberland County. He woke up to his dogs barking, walked down the driveway with a flashlight and saw the two suspects running from an abandoned vehicle off the roadway. They left the scene on a 4-wheeler heading toward Plateau Road. Upon inspecting the automobile, a catalytic converter was halfway cut off. A check of the SUV came back stolen and was later returned to its owner.
