A Roane County grand jury handed down indictments following an investigation by the TBI. Agents determined 41-year-old Rodney Lowery falsely reported the theft of a vehicle to an insurance company. Law enforcement further identified 39-year-old Danny Gouge, Jr. who allegedly falsified a bill of sale for the vehicle to support the scheme. Authorities arrested both today and booked each of them into the jail on $10,000 bond. Gouge and Lowery both face insurance fraud and conspiracy to commit insurance fraud. Gouge also was charged with forgery.
