Troopers and medics responded to a vehicle versus a pedestrian accident Monday on Highway 68 just north of the Alloway community in Cumberland County. The report released this morning states a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 45-year-old Amy Lewis of Rhea County was traveling south when her automobile struck 73-year-old Stephanie Chandler of Ten Mile in the left arm. She was walking on the side of the road in the same direction. Chandler was taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries. No charges were noted in the report and no further information was released by the highway patrol.
