(5:10 a.m. central time, Monday, March 22, 2021) – There is a tractor-trailer accident at the 284 westbound mile marker on I-40 in Putnam County (just west of the Willow Avenue Exit in Cookeville). The westbound left lane and left shoulder is blocked creating traffic congestion at the scene. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says this will be an issue for a while. Use caution in this area.
