While on patrol late Saturday afternoon, a Cumberland County deputy observed white smoke coming from the area of Lantana Road Church of Christ. The officer arrived to see a pickup truck driven by 28-year-old Aaron Dale Ashburn allegedly doing burnouts in the parking lot with two underage juveniles inside the vehicle. Ashburn was arrested for reckless driving and operating an automobile on a revoked license. The minors were picked up by a family member and a Department of Children’s Service referral was made regarding the incident.
