(As of 1:15 p.m. central, Thursday, May 27, 2021) – TDOT is working to wash away an area off the side of I-40 at the 323 eastbound mile marker. This was the scene of a tractor-trailer crash earlier this month. This is causing a traffic backup west to nearly the Highway 127 Exit (nearly 6 mile backup). Use caution in this area and expect delays.
