Rockwood first responders went a go kart accident involving a 6-year-old child yesterday afternoon on Kirby Lane. Initial reports indicated the boy was alert and stable but had a laceration to the head. He was transported by ambulance to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital for evaluation and expected to recover.
