Cumberland County Director of Schools Dr. Ina Maxwell has released the first set of COVID-19 data for this new school year as of Friday, August 6, 2021:

27 positive cases reported for students

7 positive cases reported for staff

59 quarantine cases reported for students

3 quarantine cases reported for staff

Maxwell added that Cumberland County Schools have successfully completed the first week of the 2021-2022 school year and that Covid information will be shared weekly.
