The Scott County Community Hospital will be re-opening very soon. The hospital is now called Big South Fork Medical Center. Officials there say they are waiting on Medicare to give them the green light before they request to reopen to the state. The hospital is taking applications for employment. Applicants can send resumes to [email protected] or go to their Facebook page for more information. The hospital closed back in mid-2016 after its previous owner filed for bankruptcy.
