Update

A body has been found and recovered by Knox County Rescue personnel. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Knoxville emergency personnel are actively searching for a man who went into the river near Calhoun’s and has not resurfaced. Officers initially received several calls just before 10 a.m. because the man was acting erratically. He went into the river shortly after officers arrived in the area.
