The Tennessee Highway Patrol is looking into an incident Saturday that resulted in an Overton County man being struck and killed by a vehicle. Officers say 68-year-old Hoy Worley of Monroe was walking beside a bicycle on Jaybird Road when he was hit by a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Ronald E. Roberts. Worley passed away from injuries sustained in the accident.
